#Победа70: soon in the country’s stores
On April 29 at “Loft” culture centre the final stage of a competition, dedicated to celebration of the anniversary of the Victory Day, was held.
A defile was organized by a “Young Guard of United Russia” youth political organization. The competition was attended by patriotic collections of young designers “Alexander Konasov”, “Kravtsova design”, “Dima Neo”, “Alex Raos”, “Maly Dubinskaya”, and “Sensus couture”.
The show was opened by non-competing works of the brands “Serdtsa Rossii” (“Hearts of Russia”) and “Lipovoy Gym”. One can recall that “Serdtsa Rossii” has already submitted a special patriotic collection for May 9 — t-shirts with prints devoted to the Great Victory.
“Lipovoy Gym” brand showed clothes for modern fighters: male models accompanied a demonstration with several boxing punches each. Young men were dressed in t-shirts and shirts with sewed numbers “1941-1945.” On T-shirts of the brand designers placed large prints of the Order of Victory, and on shoulders of participants “Lipovoy Gym” adorned gold epaulets.
“Alex Raos” young designer presented a collection dedicated to hero cities of our country. On T-shirts and sweatshirts designer placed names and symbols of such cities (for example, “The Bronze Horseman” for St. Petersburg and “Motherland” for Volgograd), thus paying tribute to heroism of Russian people during the Great Patriotic War.
Jury consisted of the heads of patriotic clothing store “Serdtsa Rossii”, State Duma deputy Alena Arshinova, and a member of coordination council of MGER Irina Volodchenko; they identified the top three contestants. The best collections of the show are: the work of “Alex Raos” brand, “Sensus Couture” brand from Saint Petersburg, who was able to show by means of models the country’s achievements in various fields over the past 70 years, and the top three was closed by designer “Dima Neo” with a collection dedicated to heroes of the war. On T-shirts by “Dima Neo” are depicted veterans grown old, and inscription reads: “Thanks to grandfather for the victory.”
The winners of the contest of young designers “#Победа70” will exhibit their works for sale in GUM. Also, they will be awarded a grant in the amount of 100 thousand roubles for preparation and tailoring of their goods for sale.
A spectacular final of gala fashion show was appearance of Miss World Ksenia Sukhinova in a dress called “Golub Mira” (“Dove of Peace”) of the world famous Russian fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin.
