A factory for production of unique technical textile has been opened in Moscow region
Marusino settlement in Moscow region became a place of construction of a complex weaving aramid fabrics.
On May 19 in Lyubertsy district of Moscow region was launched a new production complex with area of 8.500 square meters. Its infrastructure takes into account all the details of production of specialized technical fabrics with aramid fibre. Business owners — “Energocontract” group of companies — paid for the project about 480 million roubles. The new factory will increase the share of Russian manufacture in production costs up to 70% by 2017.
Aramid fibres are heat-resistant polymers capable of protecting oil and energy industry workers, rescuers during fires. Aramid fabric becomes somewhat of a hard shell at a temperature of 380°C, making it an indispensable component of manufacturing fire-resistant apparel. At the same time cloth of aramid fibre is very light and perfectly breathable.
Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation are confident that the launch of such enterprise will help to progressively restore industry of production of technical textile, that was virtually destroyed in 90 years.
State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Viktor Evtyukhov stressed that the emergence of a new plant should be regarded as a very positive signal to investors. He also expressed confidence that quality of goods manufactured in the new venture will significantly expand the domestic demand for technical textil.
“For its part, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in the framework of programs of support of light industry will provide new and existing businesses with comprehensive support”, — said Viktor Evtyukhov.
